Can you go in a cruise restaurant without the right type of clothes?

I’m going on a Royal Carribean Cruise. I read that some restaurants have a dress code, like formal, casual, etc. I plan on packing light, like shorts and tee’s. Will I be able to go into a restaurant that requires you to dress formal, etc. ? Deluxe Cruise Vacation
